

Last time, we came up to this point of the island later in the evening to watch the sun go down over the bridge. It is apparently a rule that if we come to the island that the weather MUST be overcast, this time no exception. But the one good thing about coming earlier in the season is that you don't have to deal with some young couple giggling about their newfound relationship, especially when they are taking up the best spot on the fort. This time, we got it, and we used it for the real reason we came here (hint, that reason was not to knit tea cozies out of squirrel tails... at least not this time)

Nobody to take the picture, we set the baby tripod up inside the fort and took this picture... about 5 minutes after I asked her to marry me.

For the record, she said yes.
